Give your service a boost
Mystery shopping is a method of evaluating the quality and level of service in the retail industry. An anonymous mystery shopper from IQS visits for example your shop, restaurant or hotel and acts completely as any other customer. After the visit, our mystery shopper fills in a questionnaire in which your quality and service is evaluated.

You decide if our mystery shopper should focus on the general service, the behaviour of your employees, the selection and quality of products, how campaign material is positioned, or something completely different.

Boost your performance...
Mystery shopping is an effective way of testing your employees’ product knowledge, customer service, and ability to create additional sale. At the same time, you can evaluate how centrally planned marketing activities are carried out in each single unit.  In short, you can use mystery shopping to identify the areas where you can give your service a boost.

We encourage our customers to inform their employees that mystery shopping takes place, and what the purpose of the evaluation is. Your employees will feel more secure when the concept is demystified.

Mystery shopping procedure
All material used in connection with our mystery shopping evaluations is treated confidentially. A typical mystery shopping procedure involves the following steps:

:: The questionnaire is worked out in cooperation with the customer on the basis of the areas that the customer wishes to focus on.
:: IQS' mystery shopper visits the customer’s shop/restaurant/hotel, and after the visit s/he fills in a questionnaire with his/her observations. A mystery shopper always acts anonymously and on the same level as other customers. Furthermore no misleading questions are asked, and no mistakes are provoked.
:: The collected data is processed. IQS analyses and treats the material, taking the specific needs and wishes of the customer into account.
:: IQS reports back to the customer and presents the finished report. The results of previous mystery shopping evaluations are included in the report, enabling every single unit to evaluate its development over a certain period of time.
